Visualizing World: Concept Art

Imagine | Visualize | Implement

After the fall of IndustEra IX and the mass exodus from Planet Xeroxtine, the futility of the artificial nodes became all too apparent. All vital transportation virtually collapsed within hours of the Fall, leaving millions of Alt Beings stranded. When the new settlement began on Zypheron H3, the need for a seamless interaction between the artificial and the organic was paramount.

Charvaka Engineering led the wave to create organic designs that integrated the natural phenomena within the scope of human transportation. To live with nature by the rules of nature became their moto.

What are Explainer Videos?

Explainer videos help users and prospective customers have a better (and brighter) idea of what a company does and why its products/services are important. Simple stories and engaging graphics, with memorable characters create engaging interaction with the audience.

Explainer videos are generally short (under 2 minutes) marketing or instructional videos that helps visually explain the working of a specific product or service. They engage with the audience in a meaningful and fun way.

Dropbox’s use of an explainer video on their landing page gave rise to a 10% conversion rate increase that generated 10 million more users and 50 million dollars of additional revenue in the year 2012 alone.

Though also used for branding, explainer videos are fundamentally meant to illustrate why a company, product or service exists and how they can be of value to the viewer.

Some stats to augment our thought:

  • Boost online visibility: 53 times more likely to be found organically on search engines.
  • Reduce bounce rate: average initial time spent on a website with an embedded video increases from 8 seconds to 2 minutes.
  • Increase conversion rate: Placing explainer videos on the landing page can grow conversions (turn visitors into customers) up to 65%.
  • Increase email click-through rate:  100% increase in the click-through rate in emails sent with video content.

At Brainpan Studio we help our clients create engaging videos that describe your company (with its services/products) in a clear and succinct way. We work with start-ups and innovators to introduce them to their potential clientele. Explainer videos help you induct your story into the omnipresent world of social media and create traction.

Ease of access and engaging instructional design makes explainer videos the perfect vehicle for your product and services to reach your customers.

We created the following explainer video for Health Express explaining medical emergencies in school and their expertise in handling the situation.

The Rise of the Monumetals (I)

Aragok stands still. In an overgrown field of TransNexus Dimension 3E. But no sign of the titanium structures remain. Mech City Xion is long dead. And its final guardian, the monumetal, slowly ebbs away into the corroding air of Zelta Sphere 7. A century has gone by but none have returned to the last homeland of the once mighty monumetals. Aragok has lost much and much more will be lost soon. The famed captain of the FinalDefence will soon become part of the NaturesRevenge.

Yet in all these years of waiting and despair, Aragok’s mech angel has never left its side. Mech angels were known to be fiercely loyal and eternal. Their self regenerating spirit fuels their ability to last eons. But due to an ancient code of the Arch of Mekanics, all mech angels are oath sworn to disintegrate at the death of their monumetal.

Though no hint of the magnificent homeland of the monumetals remain, yet a hologramic disillusion still engages Aragok. The empty fields of TransNexus Dimension still bears the reflection of the abandoned and dismantled Mech City Xion. It exists in suspended animation. A home lost but not yet forgotten.

It is a typical day at Mech City Xion. The guided Injectors44C flies in to the assembly line carrying Pollov9. The new treaty between Mech City Xion and Planet Mayzone has enabled importing of the much needed metals for an ever expanding city.

monumetal

Aragok is still a young monumetal. Naive about the organic world yet well trained in the art of the Mekanics. It is guided and monitored by the ancient elementals. Its mentor, Oron Noon has great hopes for his young protege. Little does he know that it is destined to become the last of the monumetals.

In its glory days Mech City Xion was the monumetal stronghold. A complex so vast and advanced, that it was ranked 134 in the Technixo List for cities likely to last eternity.

World day for International Justice

“Few will have the greatness to bend history itself, but each of us can work to change a small portion of events. It is from numberless diverse acts of courage and belief that human history is shaped. Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring those ripples build a current which can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance.”

― Robert F. Kennedy

The Mystical Process of Animation Depicted in Whiteboard

A meta-narrative of animation is created by this adorable Whiteboard Animation. Baba Toon and the Pandoras (Brainpan members) take you through the journey of art. The process and the purpose of animation is depicted through this beautifully rendered Whiteboard animation.

We present to you the mystical tale of Baba Toon and the process of animation:

Baba Toon has had a revelation, for which he demands the ultimate expression. He deems Brainpan worthy of this holy task.

“Animation is not for the faint-hearted. You must give wings to my vision. You must undergo the ‘Trial by 4’,” says the sage.

Dive deep into the nature of the vision. Give it a voice. Dress it in the finest garments. Breathe life into it and let it fly.

“What then O Holy saint?” asks Brainpan

“Press Play and Enjoy.”

World Population Day

When we informed the CEO about the World Population Day, he looked perplexed. “World Population Day. What does that even mean?” Saying that he flapped his arms like a wild goose and flew out of the window.

Unlike most Hallmark stained days such as Valentine’s day, mother’s day or boss’s day, World Population Day is as ominous as it sounds. It is not a celebration. It is the ever osculating chime of the old clock. A day to mark our joining numbers and the inevitable demise. The world bulging on its seams. This event  was established by the Governing Council of the United Nations Development Programme in 1989 to raise awareness of the global population issues.

The pale blue dot hangs in dis-balance. Homed by humanity and guided by its never-ending quest. The story of earth was so easily supplanted with the story of humankind. When Man became the master of the world, s/he refused to heed to the signs of nature. Maybe in his/her grandeur, s/he attempted to play god. To create in his/her own image. To surround oneself with a million shards of mirrors that reflects one’s own. Maybe man was scared of the empty space and he stuffed and stuffed and stuffed with echoes of one’s own.

Visualization: Now the world floats in the darkness of the distant stars. On a funereal journey across the vast unknown. Held in a death grasp by 7.3 billion people and carried by the evil stork. The pale blue dot hangs in our mercy and we are in a bunch tied in a knot.

Creating Worlds: Concept Art

Imagine| Visualize | Implement

Imagine: Post World Pillaging

Visualize: The decree of Corvus Noon was promulgated in the seven spheres of Xelta9. All dissent to the Vacca Proclamation was swiftly and cruelly put down. The ancient magic of the high priests of planet Rhoden was no match for Lazarus, the destroyer of worlds. Shadow Mercenaries roamed through the dying planets collecting war trinkets.

The Meta-Narrative of Animation

Like all great magical acts, it begins with a spark. The initial strike. The flash in the blue. The moment of epiphany. An idea is born. Is borne.  Shot-1

The initiator then confides in the sorcerer. An idea that was born needs to germinate. A sorcerer is the omniscient enabler. S/he adopts the idea. Gives it a home. Gives it a conducive environment. The sorcerer protects the idea. And then takes it to the magic garden.

Shot-2

The magic garden is where the idea germinates. A form is created out of the idea. A motif. A condition. The concept is born.

Shot-3

Then the gnomes talk in funny voices. The voice over is decided. Graphics are drawn. Characters sketched. Personality infused. Dimensions developed. And then the magic happens. Life is inducted. Life is inspired. Life is given. Animation.

Imagine: Future Weather Generators

Visualize: Orkon Station XIV was established on planet NuyerXelta to manipulate weather. It creates time bound space umbrellas that can be regulated by humans. Now NuyerXelta is being mined for ZenStones to support the ever hungry energy generators of Satellite Toctswa.
