Prasun Mazumdar Design is our friend, our collaborator and our co-conspirator. Today a couple of us took a trip to their studio. Situated in a shaded lane in Sushant Lok, it is an oasis in the midst of the corporate Gurgaon. The space itself is a work of art and of aspiration. A wooden monkey and his friend the giraffe greets us. Numerous design books adorns the walls. Lined with artwork and sculptures, it was an inspiring tour. Prasun has many fascinating concurrent projects including the “Tree of Death” and Sparrow. The initial stages of our secret collaboration are on the go. Rumour has it that a black crow has a major stake in the upcoming project.
