XLII. Android’s Dream

It all started as a dream, an unwinding fable. Two androids talking to each other, building a fantasy tale. Imagine what would humans do, they thought. Sitting on the edge of the Last Ark, looking into the orange sun, they found company in stories. Lost to the concept of time and unaware of the unfolding world, they gave rise to the universe of mankind.

ix. The Disaster of the Rian Caves

The disaster of the Rian Caves changed the course of Tartarus and the civilization forever. A team of 30 miners got lost in the eastern mines after the collapse of the cave wall. 94 days later when an Al42 Probe finally tracked down the team, only one survivor remained.

Vin Anteros never revealed what happened in those 94 days.

xix. The Land of the Beekeepers

Unlike the world that will consume his future and help him architect his revenge against the MainFrame, Vin Anteros was not born in a technocratic society. Far away from the rise of the MainFrame and the classification of citizens, he was born in the Land of the Beekeepers. An ancient world locked deep in the forests of Irina, the Land of the Beekeepers was a labyrinth of trees and  myths. The villagers build a secret province on the trees.

In years to come, the forest was burnt and destroyed to mine coal for the energy hungry generators of Tolchak.

xxxi. The Dieu Generator

The Dieu Generators are the prime energy source of NeonGuards‘ base planet, Ceres. The three ultra docks of Ceres are fueled using Promethium, mined from Kronus. Ceres‘ close proximity to this mining planet has helped to keep the Dieu Generators working through the collapse of the MainFrame.

The technocratic society is on the verge of the War of Xion. Seven new Dieu Generators have been commissioned on Ceres. The dark clouds are moving in.

xxii. The LowerLands of Arohan

Not much of the early years of the Jamodoras are in Active Memory. The history of the LowerLands is shielded in masks of myths and shadow stories. A land so segregated from the rest of the New World, that its very remembrance seems like a memory plant. That world existed without the need for TechnoAdvances. Arohan was human’s resilience to act in an OffWorld. The Jamodoras had colonized most of the land animals and they lived in a harmonious relationship with its environment. They lived by an ancient code of honour, believing in old rituals and  mysterious gods.

xiii. The Elementals

The Elementals maintain the balance in the natural world. They were created by nature to monitor harmony between the organic and the inorganic beings. Impartial and ambivalent to the human progress, they lived in the deep recesses of the Last Forest. After the collapse of the NeonGrids, they were forced to appear out of their hibernation. They hold the absolute power of NaturesRevenge. They can turn planets into dusts or rehabilitate skeleton  worlds within days using their aura.

An Elemental lands on Tartarus, the lost home of the NeonGuards.

xxvii. Prophesy of Grey Heart

Born under the Prophesy of Grey Heart, Akycha is the scion of the Avian kingdom of the Jamodoras. It was foretold that the young king of Arohan will break the pact with the Elementals and spread his wings beyond the boundaries of the tower world. Venturing to the Lowerlands is forbidden by the decree of the king yet young Akycha can not deny his fascination for the unknown world.

On the eve of his 15th birthday, Akycha and his vahana takes the dive into the lowerlands. Unknown to him, the Elementals follow all his movements.

xxvi. The Myth of the Golden Egg

The origin of the Jamodoras is shaded in the myth of the golden egg. It is said that ages ago the Jamodoras were the guardians of the golden egg that lay in the center of their world. And a ravaging fire enraged the egg. The giant snake, Kara was born. It fed on the Jamodoras and destroyed their homes. Unable to fend for themselves, they hid in the narrow caves. Then the Jatayus appeared in the sky. These great birds carried them off to their new homes.

After 7 days of flight, they brought them to Arohan, the huge pillars became their refuge. They built houses on these towers and with the help of the Jatayus, they began their lives once more. No one outside their world knows of their existence except the omniscient Elementals.

xxv. The Jamodoras

Far removed from the War of Xion lives the land of the Jamodoras. Untouched by the greed of the MainFrame and the vengeance of the NeonGuards, it exists in a cocoon of its own inception. They call their world, Arohan, the beginning. They live in nature with the rules of nature.
